CMF Plumbing removed this burst Rheem Copper- matic gas internal hot water unit which was the original hot water unit, which is around 45 years old. They don’t make them like that anymore.
We supplied and installed a new Rheem 135 liter natural gas internal hot water unit.
We replaced the gas and water isolation taps. We installed a new 600 kPa pressure limiting valve on the cold water supply as not to void the warranty. We also installed a Tempering valve on the hot water to prevent scalding as required by law.
